My 30 Day Challenge: Day 5

Pssst, kindness...pass it on! Today I want to challenge all of you readers to do one random act of kindness. We get very wrapped up in our own worlds and worries that we forget other people have them too. So today look outside of yourself, find a person who really needs that little extra pick me up and lend them a hand. It could be something as simple as going to a coffee shop and buying the person in front/behind you their coffee. If they ask you why or give you a look just simply let them know that today you made a choice to do one random act of kindness and they were the beneficiary of this act. Then tell them you expect nothing in return and that you only wish for them to pass on the random act of kindness to another person in the next few hours. It's time we start coming together more as a people and caring about one another again. It gives you such a great sense of feeling when you know you made a difference in someone's day. This is an extreme example but imagine if that person whom you just bought that coffee for was planning to commit suicide later that day and going to the coffee shop and having that coffee was the last thing they had planned. Just from that simple act of kindness you could change that persons mind and all you had to do was buy a coffee, can you imagine that? Your life is important but remember, so is everyone else's, they are people too just like you and we all could use a little random act of kindness every now and again.

Positive Affirmation of the Day: "I have the power to inspire people and to create more random acts of kindness."
