My 30 Day Challenge: Day 15

So I have made it half way to my goal of 30 days! YAY! Let's celebrate that for a minute... OK minute over. So yesterday my friend Jay posted on my Facebook wall about the fact that he thinks I should be a speaker at this years TEDx Vancouver. I absolutely love TED talks and would be honoured to be a speaker but my initial through was "there is no way they would accept me to be a speaker this year." Well now my tune has changed because I constantly try and better myself by believing the best in myself and loving myself. Why wouldn't they accept me as a TEDx Vancouver speaker? If I don't believe in myself and my own abilities that why should someone else? This all comes back to loving yourself and knowing that you are capable of doing anything you set your mind to. The world is what we make of it but we have to constantly be on top of keeping a great attitude and always being in gratitude for what we already have. I know just as well as anyone else how hard it is to stay positive sometimes. I personally have been going through a very tough time in my life but as long as I can stay grateful for what I have and keep talking steps forward then I know that all will be OK. Even though the present seems very difficult and I don't know what the future has in store doesn't mean I need to get down on myself about it. Maybe I do apply to be a TEDx Vancouver speaker and they say "No thank you." At least I tried and also it will put me on their radar for next years TEDx Vancouver talks. The world can be many things but at the end it's always what you make of it. So keep you head up, keep those feet moving and always remember to be grateful for the present because you made it this far and there is still a lot more to to come.

Positive Affirmation of the Day: "I can achieve any dream I have."
